Check out this latest advert about the Bhavan, airing on all the popular Asian TV channels during Summer and Autumn 2010. The Bhavan Centre in London is where you need to be if you want to know or learn more about art forms from India and the sub-continent. Music, dance, languages, Yoga, special art and archaeology classes. We have everything on offer here. A beautiful art gallery for art exhibitions, a wonderful 300 seater auditoriium, providing the stage for many legends of the sub-continent. These have included, Sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, South Indian vocal legend Dr M.Balamurali krishna, Begum Parveen Sultana, Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Pandit Jasraj and Ustad Rashid Khan, to name a few. The Bhavan is going from strength to strength, as we put on more diverse shows, dramas, exhibitions. On top of that we are welcoming more and more people through our doors every day, be it in the form of our students or audience. We also run a gound-breaking Bachelor's degree in Indian Classical music being taught here, in association with Trinity College of Music.
