This Veena duet video is indeed a rare find. Their playing is well recognized for their bhava and soukyam. They belog to the Tanjore school of Veena Playing. This was obtained from Sangeethapriya's member, Ramasundaram. For more on these great artists please visit: pages.prodigy.net In this notable vainika series, I want to present different styles of Veena playing while covering majors vainikas of today and yester years. A student of Veena should be exposed to all styles of playing. It is also desirable that the student also look for playing techiniques from other intsruments as well. Music is a way of life - a life long journey - that never ends and the joyous learning continues If I have left out any vainika, it is only because I don't have a video to post.
