The Madras Chamber Orchestra is a Western Classical Music Group founded in Madras (Chennai - South INDIA) in the year 1975 by Malcolm Ranjore along with Jerohne Fernandez and a few other friends. Malcolm's sister Irene Ranjore was instrumental in getting MCO a talented Musician and conductor - Monsieul Bernard Wacheux who was a friend of Joseph Ranjore, Irene's brother. Bernard is an accomplished violinist hailing from a musical family in France. He started formal music study in the Conservatory of Roubaix. He started his career in Germany in 1970. In 1988 he became the PRESIDENT OF THE FRENCH BRANCH OF THE EUROPEAN STRING TEACHER'S ASSOCIATION (ESTA)
