I was asked by Rob Andrews to create a video for this...
I'm working on a project for my Grad School final for Adult Development - but I think this project has bigger legs than just that.
This course has rocked my life - and convinced me that I really do belong at the head of a school. So.... I guess I'm coming out about that - I'm in a program to be a NYC principal. The idea is, that I will be a school leader by next summer (gulp). And my experience as an artist has shaped this process so powerfully. I wouldn't be here without all of you, as members of my tribe, my community, my influences.
So, I'm asking you a favor.
I'm making a film about about how grown-ups grow and change, and if I learned anything during this ride in Adult Development at Bank Street, it's that you don't know anything until you listen. To people's stories. To people's closely held convictions.
