Celebrate the Spirit of the National Speakers Association (NSA) on November 14, 2009. To honor NSA Founder Cavett Robert, CSP, CPAE, and continue NSAs legacy of sharing and giving, November 14, 2007 is designated as the annual Spirit of NSA Day, a national day of advocacy encouraging NSA members to support one another. The date has special meaning each year because it is the anniversary of Cavetts birth. It's a day when NSA members give back by providing genuine support to speaking colleagues. By taking time to connect, help, mentor or refer business to other members without any expectation of reciprocation. The NSA community is known for the concept of removing competition by building a bigger market for all speakers. The strength of NSA is in the education we provide and the strong community we have built. This year, 2009, NSA chapters throughout the country will have a unique opportunity to join together in a digital-age celebration of the Spirit of NSA Day. Participate with other NSA Chapters throughout the country for an unleashed, untamed, 24-hour Speak-A-Thon. Allow others the opportunity to learn about the speaking business from the best and most successful speakers on the planet. Programming will be whatever the best creative minds in the local NSA Chapters make it. Consider: - Interviews with top speakers - Top ten tips on many topics - Presentations and talks - Humorous speeches - Eulogies - Commencement Speeches - After dinner speeches - Motivational speeches...
