Pre-primary Annual day "Timberland" based on the theme of conservation of the forests was organized at JSS Auditorium.
Our compeering team Nithya sudhir shastry of grade III and sarveshwar R. of grade II commenced the program by inviting chief guest Mrs. Manjula {president, Bangalore Sahodaya Schools Complex & Principal, Army Public School, Kamaraj Road, Bangalore) and Mr. K.G Subbaraj and VVN dignitaries on stage for lighting of the lamp along with Invocation song [ Galiesh Vandana was presented by the children of grade II to V .This was followed by welcome speech by our Pre — primary and Primary Head Ms. Sucheta Satkar to greet our honorable guest.
Our respected Principal Ma'am presented the Annual Report for the academic year 2013- 2014 which comprised of the information about our school events, activities and achievements.

As the curtain was opened children were very excited and enthusiastic to perform. Then the most awaited performance "Timberland "of IK students commenced. The students gave fantastic and fabulous performance which received huge applause and appreciation from the audience which portrayed a story of a "Tree" in the forest full of birds, animals, tribals, children etc.. Who saved the tree from the woodcuttersandconveyed the message of `Go Green' with their performance.
After the program our honorable chief guest and President Sir delivered an inspiring speech. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks followed by the National Anthem. It was a memorable day. A very enjoyable and enriching experience for all!
